Read Alien app for iPhone and iPad

Read Alien helps you learn a language by reading books and instant messaging. This is the mobile, synchronized version of readalien.com, the website. It is a data-driven, analytical tool that not only tracks the words you have memorized but does so in the form of a book-like reading experience.

Read Alien is not a translation or Flashcard system. Instead, It allows you to provide your own stories and literature from anywhere in the world(Searchable PDFs, TXT files, or copy and paste arbitrary text) and then presents them back to you as they were originally written as an interactive learning format. Currently, only English, Chinese, and Spanish are supported, but Read Alien is a new open-source project, and we are already in the process of supporting other languages soon.

The best way to experience Read Alien is on a tablet. Either play with the demo account or create/use the online account for free before installing this on your device. While it will work just fine on phones, the smaller screen size will present a reading experience that is too constrained.
